The airport has two names, and both are right

The boarding pass says Amsterdam, the departures board back home said Amsterdam, and the signs in the terminal say Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Locals shorten it to Schiphol, pronounced roughly as skip-hol, and use that word for the airport and for the district around it. Nothing about the service changes with the name. Where first-time visitors usually end up staying

There are broadly two places a first visit puts you. The first is the hotel cluster around the airport itself: large, practical buildings within walking distance of the terminal or a short shuttle ride from it, chosen for a late arrival, an early departure or a lower price. The second is the city: a hotel in the old centre, along the canals, in the museum quarter or in De Pijp, a train and a tram or taxi away from the airport. Neither is the wrong choice, and neither costs more than the other here. What differs is the arrival arrangement, and on a first booking it helps to know which kind of room you are in before you write.

Central rooms: forty to sixty minutes

If your hotel is anywhere in central Amsterdam, the arrival is forty to sixty minutes from a confirmed booking. That covers the old centre, the Jordaan, De Pijp, Oud-Zuid, the Zuidas business district and the streets around Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. The figure holds at any hour of the day or night. It is counted from the moment you accept the reply, not from when you first wrote, so the sooner the booking is agreed the sooner she is at the door. Airport hotels: by arrangement

The hotels around the airport, at Schiphol itself, at Schiphol-Rijk and at Schiphol-Oost, are arranged separately. The reply and the deposit

The answer names a therapist, states the figure and gives the arrival time. A single word accepts it. Because a first booking with the house is always confirmed with half the fee, the next step is the deposit: EUR 90 on an hour, EUR 135 on ninety minutes, EUR 180 on two hours. It goes by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, to details given only inside the confirmed thread. The balance is paid at the door by card, crypto or cash in any major currency. Choosing a format when you have never booked one

A first-time guest does not need to understand the whole menu. The oil formats ask nothing of the room and suit a first evening: sensual massage is slow and full-body, erotic oil massage is closer and more deliberate, body to body uses the forearms and body weight.
