Plenty of guests step off a long-haul flight believing the airport and the canals are next door to one another. Courtney lives in the Centrum, among those canals, and the train that leaves from under the terminal is the first thing she tends to mention to a newcomer. English is her one language, spoken plainly and without hurry.
